Shoulder pain/frozen shoulder/bursitis: Exercises can help improve flexibility and strengthening of the shoulder which helps to relieve/manage symptoms.

Back Pain: Reducing back stiffness and improving strength of the back can help reduce/manage symptoms. Being active and exercising is also the best thing a you can do for their back.

Knee pain rehabilitation: You may be able to improve/manage pain, prevent or delay knee replacements by improving the flexibility and strength in the muscles around the knee joint. Resistance bands are probably the best piece of equipment as they are low impact exercise.

Knee pain ‘pre-habilitation’: Strengthening the muscles around the knee joint before having a knee replacement it could lead to better recovery, improved outcomes of the operation and could even reduce the likelihood of having the replacement.

Hip pain rehabilitation: You may be able to improve/manage pain, prevent or delay hip replacements by improving the flexibility and strength in the muscles around the hip joint. Resistance bands are probably the best piece of equipment as they are low impact exercise.

Hip pain ‘pre-habilitation’: Strengthening the muscles around the hip joint before having a hip replacement can help recovery and improve the outcomes of the operation.

Neck pain: Exercises can help improve flexibility and strengthening of the neck which helps relieving/managing symptoms as well as some headaches.

Achilles tendinopathy/tendinosis: Exercises can help improve flexibility and strengthening of the Achilles tendon which helps relieve/manage symptoms.

Ankle instability: If a patient tends to roll their ankle then some strengthening exercises can help stabilise the joint.

Lateral epicondylitis (known as Tennis elbow): Strengthening the affected muscles of the elbow can help relieve/manage pain.

Osteoporosis: The right exercise can maintain or improve bone strength preventing further deterioration and reducing the risk of fractures.
